OCG Power of the Elements News: New Gem-Knight Cards

On the date of 14 March 2022, Yugioh OCG Official Twitter has announced 4 brand new Gem-Knight Series cards that will be included in the upcoming Booster Pack, Power of the Elements which will be released on 23 April 2022.

During your turn, when your opponent activates monster effect: you can banish 1 "Gem-Knight" card from your GY, then target 1 face-up card on your opponent's field; destroy it.

Gem-Knight Quartz If your opponent control a monster, you can discard this card from your hand; Select 1 "Fusion" Continuous Spell Card from your Deck and set it on your field. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except "Gem-Knight" monsters. If this card is used as material for a Fusion Summon, and sent to the GY or banished: You can add 1 other "Gem-Knight" monster from your GY to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Gem-Knight Quartz" once per turn.

Brilliant Rose This card is also treated as "Gem-Knight" Card. You can special summon this card by discarding 1 "Gem-Knight" or "Melodious" card from your hand. Once per turn, you can send 1 "Gem-Knight" or "Melodious" card from your Deck to the GY; This card's Name・Type・Attribute will become the same as the original card's Name・Type・Attribute that sent by this effect. You can only use each effect of "Brilliant Rose" once per turn.

When this card leaves the field, destroy that Fusion Monster. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except "Gem-Knight" monsters. You can only use the effect of "Scatter Fusion" once per turn.
